about ali wileman

I have been practicing yoga since June 2008 and teaching since 2012. An unhealthy work/life balance as a Marketing Consultant plus a shoulder injury somehow led me to yoga and from thereon I became hooked on its amazing array of postures (Asanas) and other practices, non-competitive nature, healing properties and deeper meanings.

I met wonderful teacher Bryan Bayley (Arjuna) who immediately encouraged me to apply for the one year British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course led by respected and experienced Tutor Jayadhara. I completed this in 2010. I studied my books and myself deeply (and still do!), attending Satyananda style classes with Bryan, Hatha classes with Angie Boyer as well as stronger Ashtanga Vinyasa classes with Ann-Marie Mainprize of Amiyoga.

I enjoyed my time consulting but was ready to leave the corporate environment to share the remarkable benefits of yoga with TWS’s clients. This includes many private lessons in our studio, in addition to public classes. I also have particular expertise within schools, where I work with wonderful teaching and support staff, training them on mindfulness and yoga to increase productivity and prevent or reduce stress.
