LIVE yoga 1-2-1 sessions ONLINE - how to use zoom
Private yoga sessions currently take place using Zoom - which can be installed on a PC/Laptop, Tablet or Smart Phone.
Zoom is a secure conferencing tool that means you are able to see Ali and she is able to see you as she guides you through the class as normal.
If you are a bit of a technophobe - Don’t worry! I’m here to help, and once you’ve done it once, you will know for the future - so don’t be put off!
Before the session, Ali will text and email you a link and ID/Password so that you can access the session.
You click the link, and it will prompt you to install a little program or app to your device. You might then be asked for a user ID and Password which you then input (devices vary). You do not need to set up a Zoom account unless you want to, you can just simply join the conference instead.
MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE OPTION TO USE VIDEO ON YOUR CALL when you join. So don’t click through too fast when you first access Zoom - read the instructions carefully.
Setting up your space:
Ali needs to see you and your mat, so set up your device and make sure that you are in full view. Use your camera to check as you would a selfie.
Make sure your audio and video are switched on.
Any problems, please ask! I’m here to help.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Namaste,
Ali
