The beauty of the our holistic lifestyle coaching is that we educate our clients to understand how to listen to their bodies and gain the necessary skills and knowledge so they can take care of themselves using fundamental principles.
Where’s the quality?
Lots of people struggle with their nutrition, jumping from one diet to another, mainly due to the host of contradictory information from various media sources and the many, many money making fads and gimmicks that are relentlessly begging for our attention. Sleep, stress and anxiety are now treated more than ever with medication and not by knowledge, understanding, or a long-term approach to create a lasting solution.
To us, health has to start with quality. Quality of food, of sleep, of positive living and a great mindset. This includes eating organic whole foods wherever possible, (regardless of whether you eat meat or are a veggie, vegan etc) and drinking plenty of quality water. Learning coping strategies to help with stress, anxiety and sleep quality, and an understanding of how and why you need to move (whether gentle or more intense), all lead to gaining a better quality of health.
We are all simply not cut out for the same nutritional plan or diet, or to do the same exercise program or the same relaxation plan. We are all individuals and we need to find what works for us, not someone else. The above fundamental principles regarding quality, however, remain the constant.
Our lifestyle coaching will provide you with the understanding of what ‘real food’ is and isn’t, and in conjunction with our resident Yoga and Mindfulness expert, Ali, will also assist with reducing stress, anxiety and sleep issues. This combination will help you to eat better, sleep better and think better…simple.
